It has been a cold week but a lot has been happening. Aris has recovered from his disappointment at losing a friend and not getting his manuscript accepted. He has corrected the breeding season evolution manuscript and re-run a lot of the simulations and will soon have it restored. It is also the time for the first year PhD students to have their panel meetings which will decide whether they can continue their studies. Nana has had hers and passed very well, LiuYu’s is next week. The TREE manuscript is finally completed and approved by all authors - I now need to submit it and let it face the rigors of refereeing. Yesterday I also completed the input parameter file for running the first ever SORTIE for the UK.
