The first results are generated from the breeding season evolution model - it always pays to be early - so true! The simulation results are looking excellent and there is a good story to tell. I have also worked through the parameters needed for SORTIE - in both its basic form and its full form. There are some that we still need to resolve but at least I know what these are and pretty much how to do it. Another dataset arrived on Friday too and after analysing it I am pleased to say that all trees get taller as they age - this was not what the data showed earlier - much to Aris’ amusement. The three CSC students are progressing their applications and so with a modicum of luck we should be working on swallows in China soon.
